We all experience changes in life. Change is certain and continually occuring. While we do not have a choice in terms of what happens to us we do have a choice in how we respond. My clients are people who, despite the difficulty of change, are responding by transforming their lives.
How I Serve
I work with people who are adjusting to a recent diagnosis or coming to terms with a health-based challenge for themselves or someone they love. People who are looking to reframe their lives and redefine their futures. People who are seeking comfort and new tools to manage stress. People who want to talk to someone who has been through it.
What now?
Just as the needle of a compass continually points towards true north, I believe each of us has an internal compass pointing us towards what is best for us. During a major change we can lose faith in this guidance from within. We can lose our sense of self, purpose, and vision for our future.
As your coach I will remind you of the power of your inner compass, help you see where it is pointing and get you back on your path to nurturing your true self. I will help you gain clarity and a sense of direction during this difficult time.
Stress Management
It goes without saying that health challenges and major transitions can cause stress. Stress can limit our ability to accurately see the reality in front of us. A stress-filled mind is less likely to accurately hear what our doctors are telling us. A stress-filled mind may not be open to receive the love and support friends and family are trying to provide. A stress-filled mind is well…stressful. I will work with you on techniques that reduce stress, improve focus and develop your ability to be present in each moment.
relationships
Facing a health challenge can be a lonely experience because very few people know what you are going through. Family and friends can struggle in how they support someone going through this. For those that love and care for us, fear is a completely normal response. However, if people are bringing that fear to the relationship it can add stress to an already stressful situation. As your coach I will help you strengthen the relationships around you and find your voice in advocating for what kinds of support you need most.
